Last month, GCM was privileged to bring hope and comfort to the CEPAC church in Kasindi, North Eastern DRC, following the bombing that occurred during one of their Sunday morning services. We sent out our representatives with food, clothing and other basic necessities to address the immediate needs of affected individuals, their families, and the church at large.
Our representatives documented the aftermath of the attack, including eyewitness and survivor accounts. They also documented how their visit encouraged and comforted the CEPAC church leadership and congregation.
Here is a short video of their visit, showing how Christ’s love is being seen and felt through your faithfulness to Him in supporting GCM’s work in Africa
We ask you to pray for the following:
- Comfort and strength for the affected families.
- The Pastors and Christians in Eastern DRC to remain firm in the face of these attacks and that the blood of these martyrs would be a seed of revival throughout Central Africa.
- The peace of Christ to reign as Pastor Balume in Calvary Chapel Goma and other servants of Christ preaches the Gospel in Eastern DRC.
- The salvation of ADF and IS militants and other militia members in Eastern DRC.
We thank God for the opportunity to be a blessing to the church and people of Kasindi, Eastern DRC. This is made possible by your prayers and financial support, thank you for being a GCM partner.
God bless you.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
